Yoga is a mirror to see yourself. ヨガとは、自分自身を写す鏡
Konnichiwa.
I am originally from Japan and moved to Switzerland in 2020. I have been practicing yoga for 9 years. My interest in yoga began at the age of 12 when my grandmother, a yogini, introduced me to various poses. Since then, I have fallen in love with yoga. From a young age, influenced by my father who works as an acupuncturist and osteopath, my interest was always in the body’s systems and oriental medicine. In 2022, aspiring to become a teacher, I decided to deepen my practice and learn not only the poses but also the philosophy behind them and their effects.
For many years, working different shifts and in various time zones as a flight attendant, yoga was crucial for maintaining a healthy balance. I see yoga as a mirror for the mind. I still remember one day in class tears were welling up spontaneously during shavasana showing an intense release of emotions and stress. In daily life, there are many noises that make us forget to think about ourselves and disconnect. Through yoga, I found a way to connect with my heart and see myself by synchronizing my breath and movements.
In my class, I make time to connect with the body by observing the breath and practicing slightly challenging poses, while creating a welcoming space with selected music.
My mission is to support and encourage each of you in your goals. I believe trying out new things can be exhausting but also bring a sense of achievement and joy.
I would be happy if I could help you, as yoga has helped me, to connect with yourself, feel more confident, and return to your daily life with a shining smile after my class.
